Celebrating in San Francisco!

Brendan took me to San Francisco to celebrate my birthday for the weekend. He found a cute bed and breakfast, a few minutes outside of the downtown area, in a neighborhood with cute houses all stack upon each other. We took a tour of a submarine and Alcatraz island (I know they seem manly, but I actually wanted to...it was interesting and fun!) I think the most memorable time though was wandering around the neighborhood, taking pictures and experiencing the culture. And boy was it a cultural experience. Apparently our house was near two colleges and a gay community. Dolores Park was a block from where we were staying, and since it was hot, thousands of people were out and about. It was great people watching! After dinner, on our way back to the room we heard a huge commotion at the park and decided to check it out. We were surprised to find....Naked Slip N Slide! People had set up tarps down a hill and were watering it with a hose. People were in shorts, underwear and some with absolutely nothing! It was quite hilarious to watch...only in San Francisco!
